The Dual Plate Check Valve is a spring-loaded, non-return valve designed to prevent backflow in pipelines. As a one-way valve, it ensures that fluid flows in the desired direction while blocking any return flow. This valve features a one-piece body with a centrally located pin, which secures two plates loaded with springs. When fluid flows in the correct direction, the plates open to allow passage. In the event of reverse flow, the plates close to prevent backflow.
Compared to conventional swing check valves, the dual plate design significantly reduces both weight and length, resulting in cost and space savings for the piping system. This makes it an efficient and economical choice for various industrial applications.
